Guy Miller

Guy Miller, known to many as “G,” and to those who knew him as a young man called him “Bullet” for his unforgettable presence, was born on November 13, 1967, in Manhattan, New York City, and was called home on September 11, 2025. By the tender age of two, Guy had lost both of his parents. He was then lovingly raised by his aunt, Jewel Johnson, who became his mother in every way. Growing up on 196th off Linden Boulevard, Guy was surrounded by his sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces/nephews, and his beloved mother. Guy attended private elementary school, later studied at Greater New York Academy, and went on to William Cullen Bryant High School. Soon after, he pursued his interests for computer science at Ross University in St. Kitts, where he lived on campus and carried big dreams for his future. Guy was a man of pride, strength, and mystery. If there were a picture of “pride” in the dictionary, his face would surely be there. He was often hard to figure out, because he carried himself as the one other leaned on, never easily revealing his next move. We celebrate Guy today for what he stood for, what he believed in, and the deep love he held for his family. He was the greatest dad, uncle, and brother—someone who made every gathering lively, where a time was always had and never a dull moment. He instilled in his children, nieces, and nephews the values of respect, loyalty, and unity, reminding them always to “stick together” and “never let anybody punk you.” Guy was born a soldier, and he fought with that same spirit all the way to paradise. Though his physical presence has left us, his love, lessons, and laughter remain. He will continue to show up for his loved ones in ways that remind us he is never far. Forever cherished are his nine children, Maria, Nyema, Jonathan, Mercedes, Jazell, Gamia, Gvoni, Gianni and Gervonta who were all his pride and joy. Guy Miller will forever live in our hearts. The memories he shared with each of us will never fade, and the imprint of his life will remain a guiding light. Though he has gone home, his presence will always be felt, and his spirit will be carried forward in the lives of those who loved him most.
